Grade 8 pupils at Grey Central
are beginning to think about
secondary school. Representatives
from the three secondary schools
have visited Grey Central to
acquaint the pupils with the Grade
9 program.
On Jan. 26 John Macrtz, Rachel
Newman, Tom Pearson and
Amanda Stratton participated in a
debating tournament at Central
Huron Secondary School.
Two volleyball teams accom-
panied Mrs. Starkey and Mrs.
Whitmore to the North Huron
volleyball tournament on Monday,
Jan. 29.
This past week we were notified
by the World Wildlife Fund,
Habitat 2000, that Grey Central
will be recognized for its
environmental projects in the
School for Wildlife publication.
Mrs. Leslie Switzer, co-founder
of Light the Way Children's Fund
spent Jan. 25 at Grey Central where
she shared her experiences in
