Bayfield drops Novices 8-0
Blyth Novices had a busy, but
frustrating week recently dropping

differences and life there. He
marvelled over the way people
decorated for Christmas here with
lights around windows, fences and
trees.
In Australia they just have a tree.
He is here on exchange ministry.
His talk was very interesting.
Ruth Jardin thanked him for his
message:
The exchange of gifts was in
charge of Ruth Jardin and everyone
received a gift. There was the
singing of Christmas melodies.
Mildred Lawlor gave the card
report and Christmas cards are to
be sent to the shutins.
Blyth guests favoured with more
music.
The roll call was "Bring a gift to
the Children's Christmas Bureau".
The meeting closed with the
singing of the Queen.

Bayfield where they suffered an 8-
0 defeat.
Another nailbiter came on Dec.
14, when Zurich Rockets blew into
town and upset their hosts with a 3-
2 decision. Blyth got things started
with a shot off the stick of Ryan
McClinchey to Brett Bean, who
drove it home.
Zurich came up ahead with two
goals in the second then increased
their lead by two with another early
in the third.
McClinchey slid one between the
pipes less than a minute later to
bring the team within one once
again, but Zurich held them back
for the win.
