Combo Team Championship
bowling held in Zurich, on Sunday.
His team won the 1995-1996 Zone
Championship.
In February he will be bowling
with his team in the Provincial
Championship to be held in
London, Ontario. Good luck

Talking about Christmas
Ashley, left, and Holly Sholdice stopped by to see Santa
when he spent some time at the Brussels Library on
Friday evening. Children had the opportunity to have their
pictures taken with St. Nick, while Mom and Dad had the
chance to do some shopping, as The Ark supplied free
babysitting. There were also hayrides downtown,
sponsored by the Brussels Optimists.
Majestic WI hosts
6 tables of euchre
Six tables of euchre were played
on Dec. 5 at the Majestic Women's
Institute card party.
Prize winners included: high
lady, Iona McLean; low lady,
Mabel Bauer; high man, Stewart
Musgrove; low man, Doug
Hemingway; lone hands, Jean
Thedorf and Jim Smith; lucky
number, Mary Huether, Yvonne
Knight, Allen Edgar, Helen
Dobson, Mel Jacklin, Jean Ireland,
Elunid McNair, Ruth Bauer,
Thelma Cardiff, Gordon Thedorf,
Helen Gallop, Reinhardt Bauer, and
Richard Lindberg.
Poinsettias were won by Gordon
Thedorf and Mary Huether.
A potluck meal started the
December Majestic Women's

Lodge
meets
Morning Star Rebekah Lodge
met on Tuesday, Dec. 12 in 100F
Hall with a good attendance.
Prior to the meeting, a delicious
turkey supper was held at 6:30 p.m.
followed by a short business
meeting. The secretary's and
treasurer's report were read and
approved. It was moved and
seconded that the January euchre
be held on Monday, Jan. 16.
Happy birthday was sung to
Genie and Bill Kellington and John
Brown.
Draws were made on the three
boxes of groceries.
Winners were: Lorne Brown,
Brussels; Mary Ann Alcorn, RR 4,
Brussels; Dennis Eisenhoffer, RR
3, Brussels.
Members brought non-perishable
groceries for the Christmas box
which was taken to the Salvation
Army.
