The Huron County Board of Education
invites, applications, proposals and tenders for:
COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
at
THE LEARNING RESOURCES CENTRE
Clinton, Ontario
Duties to commence immediately. Duties include computer hardware mainte-
nance and trouble-shooting, operating system and software support in a multi-
platform school board environment including classroom, office and library
applications.
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of IBM-Compatible-and
Macintosh computer hardware repair, and related operating systems such as-.
DOS and UNIX, as well as work-related network administration experience
with Novell 3.1x, preferably Novell 4.1. The candidate must have the aptitude
and interest in learning new software packages.
Relevant post-secondary educational qualifications will include a Computer
Technician diploma or equivalent.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year position. Flexible
working hours may be required. The successful applicant will become a mem-
ber of C.U.P.E., Local 1428.
