The Hanover Barons travelled to
Brussels Saturday night looking for
revenge -- and got it.
Fresh off a win against the
Barons the previous week, the
Brussels Bulls came ready to play,
but were edged 6-4 by the visitors.
Coach Mike Henry said it was
not a "good loss", as the team came
so close, while missing some key
players due to suspensions. "We
scored three goals late in the third. I
think if we'd had five more minutes
we'd have tied that game. They
were just getting the flow going."
Goal scorers were Sheldon Mus-
tard with two, Ryan Wright and
Jason Heipel.
Ryan Fisk played net.
Sunday the team travelled north
to face the winless Wiarton Wolves
and skated away with a 6-1 victory.
Tim Beyer scored a hat trick, while
Wright, Darin Alviano and Brian
McNichol each notched one in the
effort. Goalie Jamie Taylor's
shutout was spoiled in the last few
minutes of the game.
"He played very well. It was the
game he needed to boost his confi-
dence," said Henry.
The Bulls arrived in Wiarton
with a short bench, which quickly
narrowed when two of their players
left the game with shoulder
injuries. Henry says Marc Mohr
suffered a bruised shoulder and
Chris Corbett with great defence
from Nathan Prior.
Christopher Jutzi, Tommy
Cronin and Andrew McDonald did
some great passing.
Scoring for the Belgrave team
was Jeremy Robinson with assists
from Brandon Kellington and

should be back in action this week-
end. Dan Sinclair's shoulder is sep-
arated and he will be out of the
game for at least two weeks.
The Bulls play only one game
this week, when they host the
Walkerton Blackhawks on Friday
night at 9 p.m.
Brussels PeeWee local league

mark of the first. Robert Kerr

Brian Oldfield let go with a hard
shot that beat the Goderich goalie.
The assist went to Andy VanBeek.t
Goderich scored two quick goals
to finish the first period with
Brussels leading 4-2.
Goderich scored quickly in the
second, but this would be as close
as they would get on this game.
Jason Armstrong blasted a shot
from the point on a nice pass from
Todd, then Coulter completed his
hat-trick at 6:50 with assists going
to Matt Elliott and Kerr.
Vanbeek rushed end to end to
score a beauty at 5:12, before
Oldfield rounded out the scoring in
the second on a pass from Todd.
Just one goal was scored in the
third when Oldfield completed his
hat-trick with an unassisted effort
to make the final score 9-3 for
Brussels.
Sunday Brussels travelled to
Goderich. The home team scored
quickly to lead 2-0, but Bragg
scored from Vanbeek to cut the
lead in half.
At the 12:45 mark Oldfield fired
home the equalizer, then Bragg
scored on a pass from Todd.
Armstrong notched one on a blast
from the point before Goderich
scored two quick goals to tie the
game.
Oldfield then scored on a nice
pass from Ryan Mawhinney and
with just 3:28 left in the period
Kerr shoved the puck over the line,
assisted by Chris Coulter.
Oldfield completed his hat-trick
with 47 seconds left in the second
on a pass from Mawhinney.
Brussels scored five unanswered
goals in the third. Kerr fired a shot
past the Goderich goalie with assist
going to Coulter, who then scored
