A tribute to Dr. Richard Street: This poem is a thank you to Dr. Richard Street, A finer man and doctor, I doubt you'd ever meet, He listened to his patients, the time he always spared, It didn't matter what it was, you knew he really cared. Now he is retiring, that man deserves a rest, As country doctors go, his patients had the best. He listened to his patients, their pains, their aches, their ills, He tried to teach good health, instead of pushing pills. With Phyllis's help and Betty's smile, to help put you at ease, You knew you'd soon get rid of your cough, or pain, or sneeze. So Dick, we'd like to thank you for the years of loving care, No one else can take your place, you're a gem, that's really rare. (A caring, unselfish country doctor.) — Betty Evans and all your grateful patients. 37-1 COMING EVENTS THE HURON PROVINCIAL Liberal Association's Annual Banquet and Delegate Selection Meeting is October 12 at the Clinton Legion Hall.
