At the grill
Deputy Fire Chief Bill Burkholder, left and firefighter Paul Kerr were at the grill cooking up
breakfast for the large crowd at the fire hall on Sunday morning. The event has become a
well-received, much anticipated part of the Thresher Reunion weekend.
A helping hand
The Blyth Optimists were in charge of the children's special
events at the Thresher Reunion. The activities planned are
in keeping with the nostalgic flavour of the Reunion. This
young tractor puller gets a bit of hand off the mark.

competition at the Huron
Pioneer Thresher Reunion.
A pause to refresh
Unlike many other events these days, the Thresher•
Reunion has a more relaxed attitude. Despite three full
days of things to see and do it is also not an uncommon
sight to see people just killing time.
Power pull
This participant takes his best shot at the tractor pull one
of the many contests featured at this past weekend's
Pioneer Thresher Reunion.
The cutting edge
One of the many working exhibits on display at this past
weekend's Huron Pioneer Thresher Reunion in Blyth was
the shingle mill.
Tour back memory lane
The classic cars at the centre of the fairgrounds during the annual Thresher Reunion attract
a lot of attention, particularly with the older generation who have some stories to tell about
riding in one just like this.
Class of its own
This 1961 Mac, completely restored by Bruce Thompson
of Whitechurch, was just one of the antique trucks on
display at the 34th Threshers Reunion in Blyth this past
weekend. The new class of big rigs at the reunion has yet
to gain popularity.
