Blyth council briefs Firefighters will burn old shed Blyth council agreed at the Aug 21 meeting, to leave the matter of the demolition of the storage shed on CPR property to Fire Chief Paul Josling. The lease agreement states that the building must be destroyed if the lease is not renewed. Josling said it would take little to burn the structure and would choose a day when wind conditions were perfect and there were enough firemen available to protect neigh- The Daily Vacation Bible School from Aug. 21 - 25 was held at Blyth Christian Reformed Church, sponsored by Blyth Church of God, Blyth United and Blyth Christian Reformed Church. A total of 115 students attended. Mornings began at 9 a.m. with all children joining in a sing song. The songs corresponded with the theme for this year, Son Town, Family Celebration. The songs included The Family Yodel, Family Tree, God Loves Every Kid, The Family of God, and The Get Along Song. The children sang with great enthusiasm.
