Also a beer bottle was thrown and smashed the windshield of one of the exhibitor's vehicles. There was also an altercation with the security guards. Falls Reserve hosts show On Saturday, Aug. 5 and Sunday, Aug. 6, Falls Reserve Conservation Area at Benmiller will be host to the fourth annual Car Show and Arts and Crafts Sale. Anyone interested in exhibiting a vintage car or displaying their craft wares is invited to attend. This year the show is being sponsored by the Maitland Valley conservation Authority and supported by the Radar Circle Region of the Historical Automobiles Society of Canada. Exhibitors can register by contacting Melinda Hussey at Falls Reserve Conservation Area at (519) 524-6429. The cost to exhibitors is a day pass to the conservation at $5 per car. There is no registration fee on top of the day pass. Exhibitors are welcome to attend for just one day, or for the entire event. The first 16 arts and crafts exhibitors to register will have the option of locating their display in the park's covered picnic pavilion. The show runs from 11 a.m .to 5 p.m on both days. Exhibitors will receive a commemorative dash plaque for participating in the event. A variety of draw prizes will be given away to spectators and exhibitors. Those planning to stay for both days may want to take advantage of the camping facilities at Falls Reserve. Exhibitors wishing to reserve a campsite should do so as soon as possible by calling the park. When making your reservation please inform the park staff that you will be taking part in the car show and arts and crafts sale. A variety of children's games and activities is planned for both days of this event to ensure a weekend of fun for all.
