Currently the property is zoned core commercial but a core commercial "special" designation will have to be obtained for the new owners to carry out their plans. Meanwhile, because of the change in governments in Queen's Park, the date for the official open- ing ceremonies for the new fire hall has still not been set. Because the building was built under the feder- al-provincial infrastructure pro- gram, officials from both governments must be invited to the opening. garden ponds, the law is now too restrictive.
