Teachers, parents and fellow
classmates.
Is today just another day in June,
another day in the year of 1995, or
just another moment in the history
of Seaforth Public School?
Today is a time for us, the
graduating class, to say good-bye.
It's time for us to move on. In
September we will all be attending
a new school, creating new
friendships and taking separate
paths.
Before we go we would like to
take this moment to thank our
parents and teachers for their
continued support throughout these
past nine years. You were always
there to give us advice when
needed, confidence when we felt
insecure and encouragement to help
us get through the difficult times.
Looking back over the years, you
wonder where the time has gone. It
seems like yesterday when we
started kindergarten, some of us in
Walton-and others in Seaforth.
Four years quickly passed by. It
was time for 19 of the Grade 3
Walton students to move on to
bigger and better things. It didn't
take us long to feel comfortable in
our new school, meeting all new
teachers and newly found friends.
As we leave Seaforth Public we
will be taking with us many great
memories and hopefully we have
left some lasting impressions on
our teachers as well as the younger
students. Being the senior students
we have been taught to give
leadership and to set good
examples. I just hope that too many
people have not been too
disappointed.
What lies ahead of us — we don't
know. Today we aren't really
thinking of that. Our thoughts go to
what we will be leaving behind us,
such as our teachers.
We will always remember our
educational outings with Mr.
Millson. And yes Mr. Millson, I
must agree leeches do have a taste
for the finer things in life!
Mr. Lyon, I'm sure someday we
will see your fine works of art
displayed in the best galleries of the
world.
And if any of us should make it
to the Olympics we will have to
give all the credit to Mrs. R., for
she has spent many hours trying to
improve our athletic skills.
Mme Holines, the one who has
taught us how frustrating French
can be, but also how enjoyable
when taking the majority of the
senior students on a trip to Quebec!
Mrs. Griffin, it was great to be a
part of your musical production
Alice in Wonderland. "You might
just as well say that I breathe when
I sleep is the same thing as I sleep
when I breathe."
Last, but certainly not least, our
principal Mr. Tremeer. A big thank
you for being here when needed
and taking the time to show that
you care.
There are many more teachers
who have touched our lives here at
Seaforth, but time does not allow
me to mention everyone. You have
all been great and we will miss
your smiling faces as we walk
down the halls of tomorrow.
Next September will be a
different routine, strange teachers
and principals among other great
changes. We will make other
friends, go our separate ways and
choose different careers but I'm
sure the memories of Seaforth
Public School's teachers and
friends will not be forgotten.
We will take one final look as we
leave today, anxious for the future,

will greatly influence the choices of
careers, friends and opportunities
worth pursuing.
As we grow older we will be
but not wanting to go away. We
may forget a lot of things, but
clearly we will recall the ones we
stood in class with, when we were
oh so small.
When we think back to these
days, our eyes will fill with tears.
The ones we go to school with
become precious through the years.
Congratulations to my classmates
and good luck in the future!
faced with life's ups and downs as
individuals. Going to Grey Central
has helped prepare us for high
school and undoubtedly will
reflect on the years of education we
have yet to encounter.
