DONALD GORDON
MCDOUGALL
Donald Gordon McDougall of
Blyth died at his home on Tuesday,
June 13. He was 64.
Born in Egremont Township, in
Grey County, on August 19, 1930,
he was the son of the late James
Walton and Annie Eleanor "Nellie
(McEachem) McDougall.
Mr. McDougall was a mechanic.
He is survived by his children,
Wayne and Debbie McDougall of
Blyth, Bill and Brenda McDougall
of Blyth, Diane and Ken Anderson
of RR 1, Londesboro, Shirley and
Dan Taylor of Varna and Kevin
McDougall of Petawawa.
Also surviving are several
brothers and sisters, Eleanor and
Pat Whitely and Islay Johnston of
Goderich, Marion and Donald
Kernighan of Komoka, Donna and
Carl Bender of Watford, Glenda
Gerrits of Woodstock, Joan and
Bill Crawford of Clinton, Norma
and Gary Preszcator of Clinton,
Robert and Joan McDougall of
Goderich, Jim and Marlene
McDougall of Goderich and Doug
McDougall of Blyth.
Eleven grandchildren also
survive him.
He was predeceased by two
brothers, Murray and Ron
McDougall.
Beattie-Falconer Funeral Homes
Tasker Chapel in Blyth were
entrusted with the arrangements. A
funeral service was held at
Londesboro United Church on
Friday, June 16 with Rev. Paul
Ross officiating.
The flower bearers were Kelly
Cook and Danielle McDougall.
The pallbearers were Bill
Vincent, Allan Caldwell, Bev
Bromley, Bob and John McClin-
chey and Bud Chamney.
Interment was in Hope Chapel.
SARAH JANE MACDONALD
Sarah Jane MacDonald of Morris
township died at Rammeloo
Nursing Home on June 16, 1995.
She was 100.
Born in Morris Township on Jan.
19, 1895, Mrs. MacDonald was the
daughter of the late William and
Elizabeth (Wells) Watson. She
married Peter Alexander
MacDonald, who predeceased her
in 1960.
Mrs. MacDonald was a member
of Duffs United Church in Walton.

Lions Club members Bob Thomas and Ron Clarkson
posted the names of the Early Bird draw winners at the
Lions Elimination Dinner and Dance on Saturday evening
at the BMG Community Centre. The grand prize winner
was Jim Prior.

1995. He was in his 85th year.
Mr. Johnston was the beloved
husband of Beryl (Mowbray) of
Lucknow. He was predeceased by
his first wife, Florence (McQuillin);
in 1988 after 48 years of marriage.
He was the dear father of Marie
and Neil McGavin of RR4 Walton,
Keith and Bonnie Johnston of RR2
Bluevale and Dr. Terry and Theresa
Johnston of RR1 Atwood and
grandfather of 10 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered
by one daughter Vera (Mrs. Lorne
Badley) of Blyth. Also surviving
are grandchildren, Ken and Fran
Badley of Mossbank, Saskat-
chewan, Larry and Myrtle Badley
of RR 1, Blyth, Reg Badley of
Brodhagen and his friend Lynne of
Seaforth, and Pat and Harvey
Bernard of RR 3, Walton. Eleven
great-grandchildren and one great-
great-granddaughter also survive
her.
Mrs. MacDonald was pre-
deceased by one great-grandson in
1994, three brothers and one sister.
A funeral service was held on
Monday, June 19, at Beanie-
Falconer Funeral Homes Tasker
Chapel in Blyth with Rev. Randy
Banks of Duffs United Church in
Walton officiating.
Melissa Badley was the flower
bearer.
The pallbearers were Rob, Jeff
and Jason Badley, Kevin Bernard,
Tanya Badley and Karen Bernard.
Intement is in Brussels Cemetery.
CARL E. JOHNSTON
Carl E. Johnston of Bluevale,
passed away at Wingham and Dis-
Vietnam vets honoured
To recognize the Canadian sol-
diers who paid the supreme sacri-
fice in the name of freedom during
the Vietnam War, the City of
Windsor will be holding dedication
ceremonies on July 2, at noon.
Veterans, their families and the
public are invited to join the event
which will dedicate the memorial
built in Windsor by the Michigan
Association of Concerned Veter-
ans.

Mr. Johnston was the brother of
Ethel (Mrs. Robert Turnbull) of
Wyoming, Ontario. He was prede-
ceased by brother Sparling John-
ston and sister Mabel Harris.
Rev. Randy Banks officiated at
the service held on Sunday, June
18, at Bluevale United Church.
Interment at Wingham Cemetery.

Foundation of Ontario would be
