Sun shines on Blyth's 1st Country Fest
Fun for all ages
Matthew and Adam were rooting for rutabagas when Dickie Bird (ie Richard Knechtel) made
his appearance in the Memorial Hall courtyard on Saturday, courtesy of the Blyth Optimists.
The popular entertainer put on an excellent show, delighting the young and young at heart.

Despite the hot weather on Saturday, Blyth Festival's
General Manager Susan Moffat was less than enthusiastic
about getting wet in the dunk tank during Blyth's Country
Fest.

A slow, easy horse drawn wagon ride was a great way to
spend some time in Blyth during Country Fest on Saturday.
The team took participants through some countryside at
the edge of Blyth before returning to the starting point
outside the Legion.
