Carroll Director The Huron County Board of Education REQUIRES TEACHER ASSISTANTS Individuals successful in obtaining a Teacher Assistant position will be required to work in a classroom with exceptional students, in a library or an Early Years classroom setting. Preference will be given to those candidates with post-secondary training and practical experience in some of the following areas: i) for work with exceptional students: Braille transcribing, signing, child development with emphasis on exceptionalities, medical challenges; ii) for work in a library setting: computerized cataloguing and search systems, technical organization in a library; and, iii) for work in an Early Years classroom setting: childhood development in early years.
