MARJORIE KNIGHT
Marjorie Mae Knight, 71, of
Brussels, died Saturday, June 3,
1995 at University Hospital,
London.
Born in Grey Township, May 27,
1924, she was a daughter of the late
George Brown and the former
Laura Dewar. Her husband, Allan
Goldwin (Goldie) Knight, died
Nov. 1, 1976.
Surviving are children, Dale, of
Brussels, Linda, of Ottawa, Allan
and wife Maria, of Brussels, and
Keith and wife Donna, of Cornwall;
grandchildren, Jason, Natasha,
James, David and Michael; sisters,
Audrey and husband Howard
Ellacott of Listowel, Isabel and
husband John Armstrong of
Brussels, Bernice and husband
Gerry Edwards of Belgrave,
Margaret and husband Glen
Casemore of Wingham and Fern
and husband Ray Matheson of
Atwood; a brother, Stan and wife
Mary Brown of Mitchell; brothers-
in-law, Amos Smith of Wingham,
Hector Knight of Picton, and
Alfred Knight of Brussels; and
sisters-in-law Eleanor Hemingway
of Brussels and Carol Brown of
Mitchell.
She was predeceased by sisters
Ruby in infancy, and Evelyn
(Mitchell) Smith, and a brother,
Floyd Brown.
Friends were received at the
Peebles Funeral Home, 141 John
St., Atwood, Monday from 7 -
9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 - 4 p.m.
and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral
service will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday. Rev. Ken Knight of
Goderich will officiate.
Pallbearers were Brian Morton,
Brian Armstrong, George Knight,
Bruce Casemore, Jim Axtmann and
Donald Clark.,
Following the service, a time of
fellowship will follow at the
Cranbrook Presbyterian Church.
Cremation will take place and
burial will be later in the Cranbrook
Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy,
donations may be made to Knox
Presbyterian Church, Cranbrook or
a charity of one's choice.
