Helen and John Baumbach with
Pastor and Lorraine Came sang at
Auburn Missionary Church on
Sunday, May 21. Their song
Beautiful Saviour was very
inspirational.
During the service Rick and
Lynne Packer became members of
the Evangelical Missionary Church
at Auburn.
Elizabeth Bowman, who was a
delegate to District Conferenc
which was held in Kitchener on
May 1, 2, 3 gave a report, which
was very informative, as well as
encouraging.
Pastor Came's message "A Good
Soldier" had scripture from 2
Timothy 2: 1-4. The church is like
a might army, he said. A soldier is
known by his devotion and
devotion is an attitude. Soldiers are
committed to one's comrades.
Soldiers of Jesus Christ are
committed to comradeship and
devotion goes to the point of
sacrifice.

12:30-2:30 during the week.
Of special interest to parents,
teachers and literacy providers is

Paul Kropp, author of The Reading
Solution, will speak about getting
children of all ages involved in
reading. As Robert Munsch writes
in the forward of this book, "If you
are a parent with kids, you need to
read this book". Paul's workshop
will be Wednesday, June 7, 7:30 -
9:00 p.m. at the Town Hall in

This evening is sponsored by the
Southwestern Ontario Adult

at the Festival.
things, he said, but we should dO
what the Apostle Paul said, "If it
causes my brother to stumble then I
will abstain."
A soldier is committed to duty.
Christians are committed to serve
the Lord and they must expect to be
busy. The congregation was happy
to learn that Dave Rolston has
returned home after his stay in
University Hospital, London. He is
wished God's strengthening each
day.
Many of the teens attended Pitch
and Praise at Stayner on the holiday
weekend.
