Cranbrook 4-H
By Sarah McLellan
The Cranbrook 4-H club is back
in session again, with a new leader,
Amy Terpstra and a new junior
leader, Jenny Terpstra to
accompany existing junior leader,
Becky Davidson.
The previous leader, Darlene
Fischer, retired after the last club.
Her contribution to the club was
great.
For the drama club "All the
World's a Stage", the club assumes
the name of "The Cranbrook
Stagemasters".
After reciting the pledge and
playing a few "Get-to-know-your-
name" games, we elected club
officials. They are: president,
Leslie Baillie; vice-president, Carla
Hunt; senior secretary, Kendra
Fischer; junior secretary, Crystal
Ahrens, and press reporter, Sarah
McLellan.
After the officials were elected,
we talked about the club in general,
and different kinds of drama. Then
we talked about one of these
sections of drama, Pioneer and
Ethnic Storytelling.
We then ate snacks brought by
two selected members of the 18
members in attendance and closed
the meeting with the 4-1-1 motto.
The next meeting will be held on
Saturday, May 6 at 1 p.m. at the
Cranbrook Hall.
Surrounded by friends
Rachelle Walden was surrounded by some of her
handiwork at the Ethel craft show and sale on Saturday.
The event was held at Grey Central School.
