mer member of Blyth Presbyterian
Church.
Mr. Waymouth was born in
Blyth, on Dec. 15, 1904, to John

the municipality would absorb the
administrative costs for the pur-
chase of the CNR abandoned rail
line property. The legal and survey
costs will be paid by the private
landowners.
"I don't like to see the cost for
private land purchase in any way
being absorbed by the municipali-
ty," he said.
This decision was agreed upon
at a special meeting in June of 1993
held in Bluevale Community Hall
with landowners and council, com-
prised at that time of Reeve Doug
Fraser, Deputy-Reeve McLellan
and Councillors Bert Elliott, John

won't be sure.
"When does caution become
constriction?" he asked. How many
Pharisees are in church today
because they are not sure? The
great sin in church is that people
are too busy, not taking the time to
pray or read the Bible.
We want to keep our feelings
private, as to who Jesus is, what he
wants us to do and what
relationship we should have, said
Rev. Geddes.
What more could Jesus have
done to convince the Pharisees?
Jesus never once performed a
miracle to convince people as to
who he was. In reality signs are
only given to those who understand
and believe. We wait for some
direction and if we receive it, we
will believe, Rev. Geddes said.
Jesus response to the Pharisees
was very direct. Jesus swears there
will be no sign. Why did they not
see the signs that he was already
performing? Jesus alone was God's
sign.
In spite of Jonah's reluctance,
culmination was in the resurrection
of Jesus Christ. What will it take to
convince people that Jesus is our
sign; life committed to Christ.
Duskocy and Wayne Riley.
Mr. McLellan said he was also
disturbed over an omission in the
minutes of a special meeting held
Feb. 16..The minutes read, "That
the Township of Morris proceed to
apply for rezoning of the proposed
Lot for Lot 31, Conc. 1 and rezone
the Neil Warwick Lot AG4 and the
remaining lots AG4-H, where road
access is required."
The owner of the remaining lots
is Councillor Keith Johnston, who
declared a pecuniary interest prior
to discussion on this.
In response Mrs. Michie said that
Mr. McLellan would have had the
What more can Jesus do to
convince us? Don't be like the
disciples. Remember what Christ
has done and have faith that he will
do it again.
Rev. Geddes quoted what
Elizabeth Barrett Browning wrote:
"Earths crammed with heaven, And
ever common bush afire with God;
But only he who sees, takes off his
shoes, The rest sit 'round it and
pluck blackberries." Tell Me The
Old, Old Story was sung. Pastoral
prayer and The Lord's Prayer were
repeated in unison. The closing
hymn was He Leadeth Me; 0

The $172 surplus reported for the
township in the March 1 issue of
The Citizen was another concern
for Mr. McLellan, who felt that it
did not completely inform the pub-
lic of the real financial story. The
surplus, he said, came as a result of
a transfer of $11,500 from the
Roads Working Reserve.
According to Mrs. Michie there
was $50,000 in reserve which was
