There were 15 members present. The topic, Citizenship and World Affairs was under the charge of Rhonda Bruxer. President Jean Plaetzer chaired the meeting which began in the usual manner. Marjorie McDougall was pianist. The minutes and correspondence were read by the secretary, Marion Haggitt. There are two workshops coming up that were dealt with. The WI is to cater to the Lions' dinner. There is a quilt and craft show coming up in Fordwich United Church on March 24. Heinz labels are to be saved for the Children's hospital, London. The card report was given by Mildred Lawlor. The roll call "Name an issue that you are concerned about as a Canadian Citizen" was answered. Rhonda Bruxer then took over and spoke of "Crime". Topics covered included community policing, RIDE programs, Block Parents, watch program, sexual abuse, drunk drivers and traffic violations such as going through stop signs. She said if you need help your best bet would be through Crime Stoppers. She answered many questions on this issue. Queen and Grace were sung. Prizes were given to Betty Archam- bault, Marion Haggitt and Evelyn Flctt. The hostesses served a lovely lunch and a social time enjoyed. COMING EVENTS WOODWORKING COMPETITION. CHuMS gets $890 The CHuMS mobility bus fund noon luncheon and cards at Londesboro United Church on Thursday, Feb. 16 was well attended. Organizers are grateful for the support. A total of $890 was raised to be given to CHuMS. Euchre, Feb. 17 Winners al euchre were: ladies' high, Vera Hesselwood; ladies' lone hands, Elma Jewitt; ladies' low,.
