Rubbish ablaze
The Blyth Fire Department responded to a call at McGavin Farm Equipment in Walton on the
afternoon of Feb. 6, only to find the employees burning a pile of rubbish at the back of the lot.
The firefighters stayed on site for approximately 15 minutes to douse the flames. The origin of
the call is unknown.
