John is not one to soften the
message that he fell called to give.
He says it unapologctically,
pitilessly and urgently. Rev. Banks

and the tax collector who are
willing to face their unacceptable
moral behaviours. Before we can
experience the fullness of
Christmas joy, we will have to
recognize our need for God's
mercy, forgiveness and recon
ciliation.
As John might say, 'this
Christmas have yourself a merry
little repentance.'
