It is sponsored by Molson Breweries and its main objective is to encourage safe snowmobiling practices. A press release from Molson Breweries says Steer Clear, endorsed by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobiling Clubs (OFSC), is designed to educate the public on the importance of safe snowmobil ing and of using alcohol responsi bly when participating in recreational winter activities. The Steer Clear program pro vides educational and promotional materials to snowmobiling clubs, associations and consumers across Canada. To help spread out this material Shawn Jennings, an experienced racer, will be traveling to snowmo bile events and races around the province. "Snowmobile racing pro vides an excellent opportunity to communicate the Molson Steer Clear message and educate the pub lic on snowmobile safety," says Mr. Jennings.
