By Mary Gibbings

Co-ordinator
We were very lucky to have a
beautiful month of October this
year. Residents at Huronlea
enjoyed every day and many days
they took the advantage to go out
for a walk.
The scheduled programs like
News and Views, Caring and
Sharing, Happy Wanderers were
held regularly. These are programs
that residents can participate in if
they wish to.
We are pleased to have the
Salvation Army visitors at the
home for weekly visitation on
Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Every Monday afternoon sing-a
long is held in the chapel at 2:45
p.m.
Oct. 5 was Octoberfest Luncheon
with sausage on a bun, coleslaw,
pickles and pumpkin and apple pies
on the menu. Everyone ale hardy.
It was a pleasure to have
residents from Huronview visit
Huronlea for the luncheon. Special
music was provided by Lome
McKenzie, who played old favour
