Halloween so we were kept busy.
A sincere thank you to the kitchen
volunteers and to Cathy Casemore
and staff for the meals prepared.
They were wonderful and I'm sure
Fm not the only one who has to
wear off some dressing and
pumpkin pie.
The Huron Adult Day Centre
hosted a ghostly crew on Oct. 27.
The Thursday group did some
"Trick or Treating" of their own!
We'd like to thank all those who
treated us to some toe-tapping
music, Don Cameron from Lucknow,
Jack and Audrey Adair and Jack
Jenkins for their entertainment.
November is shaping up to be
just as busy and full of fun. Our
Christmas Shopping Trip will be
held on Nov. 23 - to Conestoga
Mall in Waterloo. So everyone will
be able to buy their Christmas
treasures!
Shared Treasures will be the
theme for the Intergenerational
Program at the Centre starting Nov.
15. Wingham Sacred Heart School
and our seniors will be reminiscing
and reliving memories through
keepsakes or treasures of the heart.
In closing, I'll leave the readers
with this thought: "Of all the things
you wear, your expression is the
most important."

Cranbrook
4-H meets
By Sarah McLellan
With the addition this week of
member Jennifer Weber and junior
leader Becky Davidson, the
Cranbrook 4-Hers met on Saturday,
Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.
The meeting began with the
reciting of the 4-H pledge, then
proceeded to roll call, for which the
question was, "What is your
favourite muffin?" Popular answers
were chocolate chip, carrot, and
blueberry.
After doing a small amount of
reading in the book, members were
divided into groups to bake Ontario
Berry, Peanut Butter and Jam, and
Basic Bran Muffins as well as
Teresa and Andrew Ives
Cheddar Cheese Loaf.
All creations were tasted along
with a drink and cookies that were
voluntarily brought by some
members.
Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m.,
meeting No. 3 will be held at the
