Ghouls gather for gala night Ten tables of shoot were played on Friday afternoon, Oct. 28 in the Belgrave Community Centre. They welcome Lisa Hess and Andrew and Joanne Robinson, Nicole and baby Stephanie to Mabel's. Other moms present were: Waneta Leishman and Melissa, Shannon Weitendorf and Erin, Andrea Stevenson, Mathew and 36 enjoy games of euchre Nine tables of euchre were in play in the Belgrave Institute Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Winners were as follows: ladies' high, Jane Grasby; ladies' most ones, June Jacklin; low lady, Laura Huron County Hist. Society remembers 30th anniversary The Huron County Historical Society held its dinner meeting on Friday evening, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. at the Brucefield United Church. President, Paul Carroll, introduced the head table guests and welcomed all members and visitors present. After Rev. James McClure said grace everyone enjoyed a delicious meal served by the church ladies. Several door prizes were given to lucky ticket holders. Ron Latham reported on the "Historical Notes", published and noted this was the 30th anniversary of the society. The minutes of the last meeting and treasurer's report were given by Rae McFarlane. The ladies who prepared the meal were thanked by Mr. Latham.
