Pastor Zehr pointed out that if there are no visions, people perish. However, visionaries and realists have two very different philosophies but it is important that they leam to work together and to complement each other. True worship is not litanies nor long prayers in church, but the surrendering of entire body to God. A Christ-centered life must replace a self-centered life, he said. When this happens, a person's mind becomes different. By God's mercy we all receive God's gifts, but not the same ones. Parts of our physical body each have a unique purpose, but all parts work together for the good of the body as a whole. Likewise, he said, different Christians are given different gifts, but these people must work together, using their individual gifts for the good of the body of the church or the body of God's people as a whole. For this meshing of gifts to be effective, love for each other must be sincere, and the group must remain steadfastly in prayer. Pastor Zehr said meetings need to be bathed in prayer. Participants should be able to truly say after each encounter, "It seems good to the Holy Spirit, and good to us," he said. Wednesday evening is Family Night at the church. The adults will hold a prayer meeting at the church, while the children engage in structured activities. The youth, and young adults will participate in Bible Study at Demarays.
