We would like to thank all our family, friends and neighbours for their acts of kindness since Evelyn's accident. For all the flowers, cards, phone calls and baking that were sent to the house we thank each of you. To Mom and Helen for preserving fruit and to Dad and Joanie May for providing a taxi service, thank you. To Dr. Hanlon and all the staff at the emergency department at Wingham Hospital and to the nurses from Community Nursing Services for coming to our home, thank you. But most important of all, we shall be forever in debt to our dear friend Margaret McVittie, who basically "adopted" us as a family and was there to provide nursing care, provide a taxi service, prepare meals, do household duties and do ANYTHING else that she set her mind to, almost each and every day for the past month. Marg, no words can ever express just how much it has meant to the entire family. Finally, we would like to thank Rev. Stephen Huntley for his visits; Loma for acting as secretary’ at the church during my absence, and the staff at Paramed and Town and Country for working overtime while Evelyn was unable to work. The road to recovery has been long, but the thoughtfulness that has been expressed by the community has helped lessen the load. Thanks again. - Les, Evelyn and family. 41-lp CHAMBERS.
