One more time There was plenty of trouble for the goalies at the Brussels end of the rink, Sunday, as last year's number one team, the Mt. Forest Patriots romped to a 10-0 victory over the hosting Bulls. Mt. Forest blasts Bulls 10-0 The Brussels Bulls had a chance to move up in the Western Junior 'C' standings Sunday but came up with a disappointing performance. The defending league champion Mt. Forest Patriots embarrassed the Bulls by romping to a 10-0 victory. While the Patriots are unbeaten this season, Coach Scott Pettigrew felt they were ripe for the picking. The Pats were missing their two best players, Jeff Rahn and Paul Galbraith and another veteran Jason Paige broke his ankle in the first period. The Bulls took some bad penalties in the first period and fell behind 3-0. Mt. Forest scored twice with the man advantage and the other goal came just as a powerplay expired. A lacklustre effort in the second left the Bulls trailing 4-0. Coach Pettigrew pulled goalie Ryan Fisk for Ryan Sanders and left several veterans riding the pine bus for the LondesboroThe news from remaining 20 minutes. The Bulls did not fare much better in the third giving up six more goals. Norm Powers paced the Mt. Forest attack with three goals. Coach Pettigrew said he was disappointed with his team's effort. "We showed a terrible lack of discipline and hustle. If you work hard and lose a coach can live with that, but to play as poorly as we did, there is no excuse for that." The Bulls now meet Hanover in a home and home series. Friday night Brussels travels to Hanover for an 8:30 game. The Barons return to Brussels the following Friday, Oct. 28 for a 9 p.m. start.
