THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19,1994 Connie and Joe Heitkamp Couple weds by the lake HEIT KAMP-WESTBERG The home of Joe Heitkamp facing beautiful Lake Huron was the setting of the summer outdoor wedding between Connie Westberg and Joe Heitkamp on June 18, 1994 at 1762 Lakeshore Road, Sarnia, Ontario. The bride is the daughter of Shirley and Earl Fyfe of Blyth, Ontario and the groom is the son of Bernard and Margaret Heitkamp of Wyndmere, North Dakota. The wedding was officiated by Rev. Brenda Woodall of Courtright, Ontario. The matron of honour was Madeline and Jeff Miller Millers honeymoon in Fla. MILLER - RYAN Madeline Ryan and Jeff Miller were united in marriage on Friday, Sept. 23, 1994 al St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Brussels. Father Joe Nevett officiated. Madeline is the daughter of Betty and Jim Ryan of Brussels and Jeff is the son of Carol and George Miller of Teeswater. The maid of honour was Donna Gordon, dear friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jodi Lange, sister of the groom; Peggy Ryan, cousin of the bride and Monica Ryan, cousin of the bride. Cheryl Steinberg of Kitchener, Ontario, best friend of the bride. The flowergirl was Amanda Finlayson, special friend of the bride. The best man was Bucky Gros of Denver, Colorado, friend of the groom. The ushers were Andy Westberg, brother of the bride and Brad Mauch, cousin of the groom. The bride wore a short-sleeved ivory dress with a lace and beaded bodice and tulle skirt. The veil was fingertip length with a headpiece of beads and tulled roses. The bouquet was ivory roses, ivory freesias and green ivy. The matron of honour was dressed in a beautiful blue The best man was Bruno Doulin, dear friend of the groom. Ushers were Greg Ryan, brother of the bride; Philip Miller, brother of the groom and Nicholas Lange, brother-in-law of the groom. The ring bearer was Nicholas Lange Jr. , and the flower girl was Cassandra Lange. Music was performed by Miriam Terpstra and the St. Ambrose Choir. Sister Teresa Ryan, aunt of the bride and Joe McKinnon, uncle of the bride gave the readings. The couple honeymooned in Florida and now reside in Brussels. Walton area man marries GODKIN-SCHUITEMAN In a wedding ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 20, 1994 at Devlin United Church, Devlin, Ontario, Geri-Lee Schuiteman and Gary Godkin were united in marriage. Reverend Elaine Frazer officiated. Geri-Lee is the daughter of Jackie and Jack Schuiteman of Fort Frances. Gary is the son of Marion and Lavern Godkin of RR 1, Walton. The matron of honour was Tracy Sharma of Mississauga, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Haarsma of Georgetown, friend of the bride and Donna Godkin of Thornhill, sister of the groom. Best man was Kevin McHenry of Mississauga, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Ron Godkin of Exeter and Bruce Godkin of Walton, brothers of the groom. Guests were ushered by Dean Schuiteman, of Calgary, brother of the bride. Pianist Valerie Zimmerman of backless lace dress and carried an ivory floral bouquet of roses and freesias. The flowergirl wore a pink, ivory and blue print dress and flowers were ivory roses. The groom and best man were in black tuxedos with grey and charcoal tapestry vests and bow ties. The wedding reception was held at the Drawbridge Inn in downtown Sarnia. The guests present were from Los Angeles, Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, Germany, Blyth, Guelph, Brantford, Listowel and Sarnia. The newlyweds now reside in North Dakota. Scriptures were read by Sharon Godkin of Walton, sister of the groom. Guests were greeted by Katie, Cameron and Kelsey Miller of Rochester, New York, cousins of the bride. Geri-Lee and Gary Godkin A wedding dinner and reception were held at La Place Rendez­ vous, Fort Frances, with Dianne Godkin as Master of Ceremonies. The following morning many guests enjoyed a brunch with the Schuiteman and Godkin families. The wedding couple now resides at 510-300 Webb Drive, Missis­ sauga.
