Barking dogs a problem Continued from page 3 never been able to catch the dog barking despite having made numerous drives into the village, sometimes on his own time. "It is putting me in a difficult sit uation and I am asking council how they want to deal with it." The situation, Reeve Dave Lee said, has come about as the dogs are put outside during the day while the owners are at work, when the complainant who works midnights is trying to sleep. Mr. Trick said the people with the dog have been quite reasonable. A complaint has been lodged but. he said, he has never personally heard the dog barking. He said he could spend more time on this one situation, but it would cost the vil lage. Councillor Mason Bailey said that perhaps it would be best to find out if the parties involved want to come to a meeting. Councillor Eugene Cobum agreed saying, "It might be a good idea to try again in this case but I hope council won't be involved in any more dog issues." A meeting is being rescheduled after which, councillors said, they could deal with the outcome. THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1994. PAGE 11.
