"I have received a lot of pressure from people who have asked me to run," he says, so he decided to enter the race. "I hope that the people of Blyth will elect a council which is more receptive to development and investment in this community; one that will develop a more relaxed regulatory system," he says. There are better ways to handle the garbage. We don't have to sort the (recycleables)." "We should put pressure on upper governments to look for other methods." Mr. Bailey says, "It is the coun cil's responsibility to serve the ratepayers' interests." "We work for the ratepayers. They vote us in and they pay us." "We are representatives of the public.
