THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24, 1994. 0 bituaries JAMES HENRY MCARTER James Henry McAricr of Shcl- bournc passed away on Saturday, Aug. 13, 1994 at Duffcrin Area Hospital. He was in his 60th year. Mr. McAricr was the loving son of the late John and Elsie McAricr and the loved brother of Gerald McAricr, Donna Fischer, Melvin McArter and Dorothea Ducharme, all of Brussels and the late Murray McArter. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Rev. Carolyn McAvoy officiated at the service held on Aug. 17 at Betts Funeral Home, Brussels. Interment was at Brussels Ceme­ tery. In remembrance, donations to Melville Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. DONALD JAMES (TINY) HADLEY Donald James Badlcy of Mossbank passed away at his home Friday, July 29, 1994. Don was born July 1, 1963 in Swift Current. He moved at an early age with his family to Cantuar and attended school at Success. He moved to Mossbank in 1978 where he completed his education. Don also attended SIAST Campus in Moose Jaw. He worked with his parents in their restaurant in Mossbank as well as, at several other jobs in the area. Don was active in the Mossbank Kinsmen Club and was District Deputy Governor from 1993-1994. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Lome Badlcy of Blyth; his maternal grandparents, William and Loonie Pribyl of Swift Current. He is survived by his parents, Frances and Ken, Moss­ bank; a brother, Harold (Valeric) and their daughter, Raven, Swift Current and a sister, Cheryl, Calgary; his grandmother, Vera Badlcy; his great-grandmother, Sadie MacDonald both of Blyth and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service of remem­ brance was held at the Mossbank Cemetery Tuesday, Aug. 2 al 2 p.m. Reverend David Peebles You can lose a lot more than officiated. RONA BROWNE Rona Browne of Fordwich passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1994 at the Fordwich Village Nurs­ ing Home. She was in her 89th year. Mrs. Browne was the beloved wife of Hector Browne of Ford­ wich and the loved aunt of Jean MacMillan of Victoria, British Columbia. Mrs. Browne rested al Betts Visi­ tation Centre, Corrie from 7-9 p.m. on Friday evening. The funeral ser­ vice was held al Trinity Anglican Church, Fordwich al 11 a.m., Sat­ urday. Rev. Suzanne Stewart offici­ ated at the service. Pallbearers were Doug, Peter, Ted and John Browne, Stewart Pat­ terson and Bruce Bennett. Interment was at Wroxeter Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family. LESLIE WILLIAM HALLIDAY Leslie William Halliday of Ford­ wich passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 1994 at Guelph General Hospi­ tal. He was in his 82nd year. Mr. Halliday was the beloved husband of Betsy Halliday and the loved father of Calvin and Marilyn Halliday of Maple. He was the loving grandfather of Melanie and Tim Matheson of Tot­ tenham, Daryl and Kelly of Toron­ to and Jason of Maple and great­ grandfather of Bethany and Bradley. He was the dear brother of Char­ lie Halliday of Chesley and the late Alvin Halliday and Mildred Thompson. Rev. David Hunter officiated at the service held at Betts Visitation Centre, Gorrie on Aug. 23.
