Blyth man marries in Trinity United Church ALCOCK-McCLURE Connie Faye McClure and Brian Kenneth Alcock were married at Norlhside United Church, Seaforth on Saturday, June 18, 1994. The ceremony was performed by Reverend Bruce Cook. Connie is the daughter of Bill and Sharon McClure, of Seaforth. Brian is the son of Ross and Cora Alcock, of Brussels. Maid of honour was Sandy McClure, of Washington D.C., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kerrie Jacobs, of Stratford, cousin of the bride; Jen Watt, of Seaforth, friend of the bride; Janice McCallum, of Walton, cousin of the brides. Flower girl was Ashley Sholdice, of Brussels, friend of the bride and groom. Best man was Jeff Alcock, of Waterloo, brother of the groom; groomsmen were Mark Swart, of Groups promote tourism This summer the Huron County Board of Education, the Huron Community Futures Corporation, the Huron County Department of Planning and Development and the Huron Tourism Association have united forces to promote Huron County's second largest sector - tourism. These agencies are designing a Group Bus Tour Manual to be used by various lour operators through­ out Ontario and the Northeastern United States. As well, the manual will be used by the local school board to develop educational trips to Huron County sites of interest. All guests were invited back to the bride's parents’ home for a social time and picture taking followed by a dinner and reception held at the Seaforth and District Community Centre. SIPPEL-GOODING Trinity United Church, Listowel, was the beautiful setting for the July 2, 1994 wedding of Brenda Ann Gooding and Jeffery Lloyd Sippel. Brenda is the daughter of Wayne and Sandra Gooding of Listowel and Jeffery is the son of Lloyd and Donna Sippel of Blyth. Barb Smith of Atwood, sister of the bride was the matron of honour and the bridesmaids were Jody Sip­ pel of Stratford, sister of the groom; Kim Gooding of Listowel, sister-in-law of the bride and Karen Hak of Listowel, friend of the cou­ ple. Ron Howson of Blyth, friend of the groom acted as the bestman and the ushers were Ben Gooding and Bruce Gooding both of Listowel and brothers of the bride and Paul Hak of Listowel, friend of the bride and groom. Brett Smith of Atwood, nephew of the bride, had the honour of being the ringbearer. Rev. Murray McLeod officiated at the service while Jennifer Hoover provided the music. The duet of Jenny Barker on flute and Krystle Barker on piano, both cousins of the groom performed Everything I Do, I Do for You, by Bryan Adams and Wind Beneath My Wings, by Bette Midler. The reception was held at Parkview Gardens in Listowel. A honeymoon cruise is planned for November. The couple now reside al 17-135 Main St. E., Listowel.
