with losses in one's life in the past
five years and asked the members
to think how they felt, then
suggested they think of these five
years being crammed into a six
month period, which is how the
Alzheimer Caregiver feels, and has
to cope.
They talked about coping
strategies and emotions.
Sunday was a Plenary Session
and the Annual General Meeting.
They were left with the reminder
to concentrate on establishing
strong chapters and ensure the
quality of care for the Alzheimer

their mission being promoting and
enhancing quality of life and to
promote research into the cause,
treatment and alleviation of the
disease.
