Blyth area girl marries in Windsor Beth and Jon Kohut KOHUT-SZUSZ Parkwood Gospel Temple in Windsor was the setting for the April 9, 1994 marriage of Jon Kohut of Tecumseh and Beth Szusz of Windsor. The bride's gown was while satin trimmed with while lace embroi dery and tiny pearls and sequins. A satin train trimmed with the same applique fell from a large bow at the back. Her headpiece matched the dress with veil cascading from the top. She carried a bouquet of lilies with white sweetheart roses and greenery throughout. She was attended by her sister, Shannon Szusz of Windsor as maid of honour and her sister Laurie Duczman of Amherstburg, niece, Kerrie Szusz of Londesboro and sister, Janet Stilson of Exeter as bridesmaids. They wore cocktail length dress es in cinnabar red and carried cas cades of white lilies and red sweet heart roses. The flowergirl, Kalie Duczman, a niece of the bride, was dressed in white satin and carried a basket of flowers similar to the bride's. The groom was attired in black tuxedo pants and a white dinner jacket. His best man and friend, Rob Bloomfield and the grooms men, Bob Szusz, the bride's brother of Londesboro, and Mike Dean and Rob Harrington, both friends of the groom wore black tuxedos. All the men had red rose boutonniere. The church altar was decorated with Boston fems on pedestals with candles in the centre and a large candelabras with red roses as centre pieces. Marsha Szusz of Londesboro was pianist. She was accompanied by Jennifer Szusz on the flute as the bride entered the sanctuary. During the ceremony the bride sang My Treasure to her groom. Following the ceremony the happy couple was feted at a recep tion in their honour at the Slovack Centre in Windsor. A special guest for the happy occasion was the bride’s grand mother Ruby Rich of Blyth, who presented them with a queen size double wedding ring quilt that she had made for them.
