Gr. 8s visit TO
By Joanne Josling
Last Tuesday and Wednesday the
Grade 8s of Blyth PS went to
Toronto for their end of the year
bus trip. They earned the money by
cookie dough sales, pizza sales and
pizza and hot dog days. They drove
to Toronto early Tuesday morning.
When they got to Toronto they
went straight to the Science Centre
when they saw many interesting
exhibits, until 3.
Grade 8s went to the Holiday Inn
for a refreshing swim and then they
went to the Skydome to watch a
Jays game.
They came back to the hotel and
ordered pizza and went to bed. The
next morning at 7 they got up and
went for breakfast and went to the
CN Tower. They returned to the
hotel, got all their things and put
them on the bus.
They drove across Toronto to the
Metro Zoo and they stayed until 4
when they left for Blyth. They
arrived in Blyth at 7:30.
They had a nice, fun trip and they
all wish they could go again. The
Grade 8s thank Mr. Harrison and
Mrs. Hulley and the chaperones for
helping to organize the trip and
making it a success.
