Blyth council at its May 26 meet­ ing reached an agreement with Randy and Eleanor Babcock, own­ ers of Grandview Restaurant, locat­ ed at the south end of the village in Hullett Twp, regarding hookup to the sanitary sewer. Subject to approvals from Hullett and the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the work will proceed during the highway reconstruction. This grant has been the same over the past two years. A meeting to discuss and provide information on the Hwy. 4 recon­ struction through the village is being held June 1 (tonight). Clerk-Treasurer Helen Grubb told council that the meeting would be very informal and would be of particular interest to the business­ people who will want to know what to expect when the work is being done. Any dog causing a disturbance for half an hour or longer from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. or 15 minutes from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. may result in a $50-$ 100 penalty to the owners.♦♦♦ The MTO contract for the recon­ struction of Hwy 4 was awarded to Lavis Contracting, RR1, Clinton. Hobden will begin her ministry with the Belgrave, Calvin-Brick United Churches Congregations on July 1 of this year. Visitors on Sunday with Ron and Jean and family were Jean's mother, Doris Fryfogel of Tavistock and Ron's parents Gordon and Agnes McBumcy. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Baker and baby Coultes spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Walsh.
