Kathy Bridge introduced the guest speaker District President Jean Wilson, who spoke on motivation and success. She related a story to the members that a person must be motivated before they can achieve. Some people become sick if they don't want to do something. Their attitude is if I don't try, I can't fail. People must see others' needs and through time some of these needs may have to be changed. She commented that success is failure turned inside out. If you fall flat on your face at least you fall forward. Mrs. Wilson ended saying, "It's all up to you as to whether you achieve or not." Melody White thanked the speaker for her valuable thoughts. Mercedes had 3 major back surgeries and 1 minor surgery to have a central I.V. line insertion. Words can't express how grateful I was to have my mom stay with Mercedes and me most of the days and nights, I couldn't have got through it without you.
