GRADE 7
Grade 7s have just finished their
reports on inventors from Leonardo
da Vinci to Armand Bombardier.
Their next step is to make an
invention themselves.
Perhaps a Grade 7 class of the
future will be researching some of
these students as "famous
inventors."
GRADE 8
Grade 8s organized a winterfest
activity day on Friday, March 1.
Students participated in tug-o-war,
snowshoeing, snowboard and
mountain climbing relays to name a
few. The weather cooperated with a
fresh snowfall and everyone had a
ball.
Thank you Grade 8 and Mr.
Harrison.
GRADE 2
Mrs. Armstrong-Gibson's Grade
2 class has been learning about
eggs this past month. The children
have been conducting research on
eggs and birds, writing related
stories on the computers and
publishing these stories, experi
menting with eggs and learning
about the development of a chick
from the egg stage.
The most exciting part of this
unit was actually incubating eggs
and then watching them hatch on
February 24.
