HE WON'T COME IN FROM
THE BARN
By Ted Johns
In 1977, Aylmer Clarke, a Huron County farmer, first took refuge in his
barn. Escaping the frustrations of a fast-paced world, he resisted the
pressure from his son to expand and modernize,
the advice of his doctor to relax and the temptation
of his wife to visit the Old Country. He holed up in
a comfortable comer of his bam with his cows and
chickens. Well, it's 1994 and he's still there! Come
and enjoy Aylmer's views on the politics and
foibles of the '90s.
