Tricia represented the area at the speak-off in Seaforth on March 5. 18 attend Majestic euchre Eighteen members were in attendance at the Majestic Women's Institute meeting on March 9. The meeting opened with the Mary Stewart Collect and Institute Ode with second vice- president Melody White presiding. Correspondence included notice of Wheels Away annual meeting for March 28 at the Wingham Area Senior Centre at 7 p.m. and a financial report from Friends of 4H. A donation will be made to the Friends of 4H Fund. The committee for the April 5 card party is Ruth Sauve, Edna Pletch, Peggy Cudmore and Eleanor Hemingway. Peggy Keffer, Melody White, Kathy Bridge and Doris McCall will make up the Cancer Committee. The casserole supper and euchre party will be held on April 25. Majestic Institute will be hosting the historical meeting in Brussels on april 21 at 8 p.m. The lunch committee is Doris McCall, Ida Evans and Kathy Bridge. A bus trip will be on June 4 to the Doon Village hosted by the Historical Society. The actual site is at the north end of town, across from the Mennonite Church, near where the old railway station was located. The property is owned by the village. We apologize for any confusion the error may have caused. Lodge meets The regular meeting of Morning Star Rebekah Lodge No. 315 took place on March 8 with Noble Grand Lois McCutcheon presiding. The members were pleased to have as their guests members of Pride of Huron Rebekah Lodge Exeter. They presented the host lodge with the travelling gavel and Lois McCutcheon with a bouquet of fresh flowers. The District meeting will be held in Exeter on April 13.
