Correction
There was a mistake in last
week's issue of The Citizen with
regards to the proposed location for
a new fire hall in Brussels.
The actual site is at the north end
of town, across from the Mennonite
Church, near where the old railway
station was located. The property is
owned by the village.
We apologize for any confusion
the error may have caused.
Lodge meets
The regular meeting of Morning
Star Rebekah Lodge No. 315 took
place on March 8 with Noble
Grand Lois McCutcheon presiding.
The members were pleased to
have as their guests members of
Pride of Huron Rebekah Lodge
Exeter. They presented the host
lodge with the travelling gavel and
Lois McCutcheon with a bouquet
of fresh flowers.
The District meeting will be held
in Exeter on April 13.
Jean Bridge won a shamrock in a
draw.
