I feel Huron County has an excellent educational program for handicapped children. I feel you not only need patience, but love and understanding of these children. As a toddler, I remember Nicholas as being determined, he would stumble quite often, but would get back up and try again. That's how it's been for Nicky throughout his 11 years, determination. He has a sister who is four years younger than he, so it public through the Huron County libraries, the OMAF office and the Community Information Service at Clinton. The next meeting of the HCSN will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 17 at the OMAF office on Don Street in Clinton. This year was a very special year for Nicholas. There was a special Olympics held in London, Ont. for handicapped children. Nicholas won two medals and two ribbons. I can only imagine how proud he must have felt to receive these medals. I know we were all very proud of him. Again, he has proved to all, with determination, he tries his best and succeeds. Whether it be a small thing like learning to write his name or getting a medal for skiing he has succeeded and is overjoyed with his success. I believe we can all learn something from Nicholas. It doesn't matter what we do, it's how we do it. Give it our best shot, that's all anyone should ask of a person. I have enjoyed Nicky's company on different occasions and I can only say I take a long look at myself and am very thankful for all that is around me. I am a belter person for knowing Nicholas Saur, a very special little boy. •GOODS • SERVICES • TRADES Construction • residential & agricultural structures • framing • siding • drywall • roofing & trim Estimates & Prints R.R. # 3 Blyth k 523-9354 J ( DUNBAR & COOK ELECTRIC LTD.
