What is "Ark Interlink?"
Ark Interlink is a service provided by
young people from The Ark for people in
the community on a volunteer basis.
• Can’t reach the box under the bed or on
top of the cupboard?
• Need a light bulb changed?
• Ran out of sugar or milk?
• Need a letter or payments delivered?
• Need a prescription picked up?
• The walkway needs clearing, grass
cutting, leaves raked?
• Library books or videos need returning?
Call Ark Interlink for Free, reliable,
friendly service.
There's No Answer!
Ark Interlink will always return your call.
If you get the answering machine, you will
hear:
"You have reached Ark Interlink
please leave a message."
or
"You have reached 887-6024
please leave a message."
1) wait for beep
2) say your name
3) your telephone number
4) the time you are calling
For Your Information
Who needs the service?
The service is available for people of any age, who are
limited in their ability to be mobile, either temporarily or
permanently.
When is the service available?
The team members are available between the hours:
4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Friday
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Does it cost anything?
No. You are provided with "LINK" cards.
When an errand or task is completed, you
will give the team member a "LINK" card.
How do I contact Ark Interlink?
By telephone, between the hours of
9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
• Essential service only on Saturday and Sunday.
All requests must go through the co-ordinator

be within walking distance for the nearest team member.
