During the service Elizabeth Bowman sang a solo, "Even When Your Heart Aches, Come to Him Today." Pastor Came's message was "the person whom God uses" with scripture from Acts 6: 8-15. Dwight L. Moody was dedicated to the work of the Lord in starting a Bible school. Abraham went where he knew not because he was dedicated' to God, he said. To be the person God uses, like Stephen in the scripture, we must be a person full of God's grace said Pastor Came. How do you qualify to be used by God, he asked. Pastor Came said, we must be fully consumed which goes beyond consecration. Stephen was full of God's grace and power so we must have an openness to the Holy Spirit. In a spirit-filled church the miraculous happens. If we are full of ourselves we cannot be filled with God's fullness, he said. We must be fully committed. Stephen did something with his life. If we are just mediocre Christians we have wasted our lives. We are confronted with a choice: being mediocre or people of God. s---------------ACcddwM Construction • residential & agricultural structures • framing • siding • drywall • roofing & trim Estimates & Prints R.R. #3 Blyth < 523-9354 J ( DUNBAR & A COOK ELECTRIC LTD.
