Tender period runs from May 1st to April 30 for a period of up to three years. The period of time is at the Board’s discretion. The total hours and the times of operation for the booth are to be stated on the tender. The total amount to be paid as rent per year is also to be stated. A fridge is supplied by the Board. The positions will commence as soon as possible and terminate in mid-June of 1994. The project co-ordinator will be responsible for general management of the program, including budgeting, report generation, liaision with all partners. Teaching and training are vital components of the program. Applicants should possess good general manage­ ment and organizational skills, a good knowledge of the construction trades, blueprint reading and be able to work with small groups of adults as a lead-person. Fire Chief Gary Earl says that while the cause is undetermined it is believed to have started in the area of the wood stove. A tanker from Blyth Fire Depart­ ment came in to assist while water was drawn from Brussels. Police lay charge An Ethel-area woman escaped injury following a two-car accident in Grey Twp. Saturday afternoon. A spokesperson form the Wing­ ham OPP said that Sally Chapman, 31, of RR1, Ethel was northbound on Sideroad 30-31. After slowing for the yield sign, her 1988 Ford Thunderbird entered the intersec­ tion at Cone. 3/4 where it collided with a 1986 Toyota, driven by Peter Sanio, 40, of London. Police have charged Ms Chap­ man with fail to yield.
