Phone 519-887-8273 03-3 ----------------------------------------- TAKE NOTICE that the Municipality of Central Huron will hold a public meeting on Monday March 4, 2019 at 5:00 pm in the Municipality of Central Huron Council Chambers at the Central Huron Town Hall (23 Albert St., Clinton) to consider a proposed Housekeeping Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act. ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed zoning by-law amendment. ONLY individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a Zoning By-law amendment to the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf. IF you wish to be notified of the decision regarding the proposed zoning by-law amendment you must make a written request to the Municipality of Central Huron at the address below. IF a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Municipality of Central Huron before the proposed zoning by-law amendment is approved the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Municipality of Central Huron to the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal. Purpose and Effect The purpose of the housekeeping amendment is to update the language of the zoning by-law text and make corrections as necessary to the zoning maps. The proposed housekeeping amendment includes the following changes: 1. A hospice to be added as a permitted use in the General Agriculture (AG1) zone. 2. Language related to the Forest Conservation By-Law to be updated. 3. Brewery/Distillery/Winery to be added to the Agricultural – Commercial Industrial (AG3), Village Commercial – Hamlets (VC3 and Core Commercial-Clinton (C4) zones. 4. The role of the Huron Stewardship Co-ordinator to comment on development in Natural Environment zones to be clarified. 5. The processing materials from off site to be clarified as a permitted use in the Extractive Industrial (ER2) zone. 6. Septic requirements for second residential units to be clarified. 7. Provisions for separating multiple attached residential units into separately titled units to be clarified. 8. Requirements for waste effluent that could be harmful to municipal sewage treatment plants to be clarified. 9. Provisions for Fringe Commercial –Clinton (C5) to be clarified. 10.
