A man is a success…
Who leaves the world better than he
found it;
Who never lacked appreciate of
earth’s bounty or failed to appreciate
it;
Who looked for the best in others
and gave the best he had.
Think of him as living in the hearts
of those he touched for nothing
loved is ever lost and he was loved
so much. – Love, your family.35-1p

It was the final day of the season on Sunday at the Clinton Raceway as the horses took to the
track for one final time in 2018. Not only was it the final day of the season, but it was also the
38th annual Charity Drivers Challenge and this year the drivers were raising money for the
newly-established Tanner Steffler Foundation, which seeks to improve access to mental
health and wellness resources for youth in Huron County. Jody Jamieson was the eventual
winner of the challenge with 178 points. Jamieson is now a six-time winner of the event.
Money was raised for the foundation through a silent auction and funds donated from various
sources throughout the day. (Shawn Loughlin photo)
