PEPPER. The family of the late
Joy (Uchiyama) Pepper of
Hensall/Orangeville, would like to
thank friends, relatives, neighbours
and co-workers for attending the
graveside funeral service at Maitland
Bank Cemetery, Seaforth on August
8, 2018. Thank you to John
McGlynn for his assistance and
guidance during this most difficult
time. Thank you to Steve Hildebrand
for the beautiful service. He truly
has a gift with words. Thank you to
all who came back to Murray and
Sandra Pepper’s farm for the
Celebration of Life following the
service. A special thank you to
Murray and Sandra for providing
their place for Joy’s celebration and
the music of the 1960s – Joy’s
favourite. To all who helped with the
lunch in any way, your assistance
was greatly appreciated. It was so
nice to see and chat with all of you,
hearing all the stories, reminiscing
the good times and catching up with
so many we haven’t seen for so long.
Joy would have been touched and
overwhelmed with the number of
people who attended the graveside
service and the celebration following

DUCHARME. The family of the late
Oscar Ducharme would like to thank
everyone for their kindness during
the recent loss of our dear husband,
father and grandfather. We
appreciate our relatives and friends
who sent flowers, made memorial
donations, sent cards and food to the
house. Special thanks to Dr.
Rooyakkers and all the nurses at
Seaforth hospital, to the nurses from
CCAC, to the nurses and everyone
for the great care at Huron Hospice.
We also appreciated the comfort of
Theresa McDonald-Lee for her
visits throughout. Thank you to
Zoellyn Onn at Riverside Funeral
Home for their care and compassion
at such a difficult time. Thank you
also to the pallbearers John
Hengeveld, Mervin Bower, Chris
Ryan, Dan Laidlaw, Jeff McNichol
and Evan Ducharme each of whom
held a special place in Oscar’s life.
Also to Oscar’s family for their visits
and spending time with him. We are
also most grateful to Nanci
Ducharme for the lovely lunch
following the funeral. Thanks to so
many others who visited him at
hospital and hospice, gave us their
sympathy and support throughout
Oscar’s illness. Your kindness was

LANGLOIS. It was a wonderful
celebration of 60 years that George
and I had with so many friends and
neighbours. Thank you all for your
best wishes, cards and gifts. It was
very special to have my sisters Betty
and Mary - my bridesmaids join us.

Jenna, Maurissa, Jess, Brent and
Andrea for all their help for our
