HPRCSSB will bus Huron's sec. students
Secondary students in Huron
County who wish to attend a
Catholic high school will soon be
able to as the Huron-Perth Roman
Catholic Secondary School Board
agreed to extend bussing to the
county.
At the Dec.13, meeting trustees
voted to provide transportation to
the region to allow students to
attend St. Michael, in Stratford.
Trustee for Brussels, Blyth,
Wingham, Howick, Morris, Turn-
berry and Grey Twps., Vince
McInnes says, "Virtually anyone in
Huron County can attend St.
Michael as long as they can get to
the designated dropoffs."

INTERMURALS

For the past month, the grades 6,
7, and 8s have been participating in
intermural volleyball with Mrs.
Laurie refereeing. Four teams
competed on Tuesdays, Thursday,
and Fridays at noon hour. At the
end of the season Team Four, with
Mike Haggitt as captain, led the
overall scoring with 43 points.
Team Three, with Christina
Black as captain, was second with
39 points.
Team One with April Van
spots will be determined by num-
bers requiring the service.
Director of Education, Dr. James
Brown says, the HPRCSSB and the
HCBE have agreed to work togeth-
er to establish a catholic secondary
school at Central Huron Secondary
School in Clinton.
The school has a capacity for
1,400 students but presently serves
600.
Mr. Brown says it would take
four years before the school would
be in full operation with all grades.
The Catholic secondary school
could be open by the fall of 1995,
for Grade 9 students. It would
expand to Grade 10 the following
year.

benediction and choral response.
Christmas Eve service is Dec. 24
at 7:30 p.m. Communion will be
served.
There will be no Sunday School,
Dec. 26.
