OUR MIRACLE CHRISTMAS
By Connie Kuc
We brought you into the world
and you showed us the true
meaning of life.
It was seven months that we
anxiously awaited the arrival of our
first baby. We thought about all the
love that was awaiting her. Dec. 6
marked the end of a very eventful
time for us and the dawn of the
start of parenthood. Our daughter
was one month early but we were
so very grateful that she was
healthy! You see she was a twin.
Her twin was lost early in the
pregnancy. We were never one
hundred per cent sure we'd ever get
to become a family with her.
We shall never forget the time
leading up to her birth, her first
days of life, her first Christmas and
all the other memories we cherish.
What we hoped and prayed would
happen, did!
Our precious little girl spent
Christmas with her new family.
This perfect masterpiece of our
shared love made our life more
complete...

THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS..
By Amanda Leger
To me the Spirit of Christmas is
Christmas lights lit up around a
house and on the trees outside. It's
a Christmas tree in the house
decorated with lights and
decorations and of course an angel
at the top of the tree. To me
Christmas is a happy family
waking up on Christmas Day early
in the morning and finding presents
under the tree in the house.
It's also having a big, breakfast
and then turkey dinners at usually
both sets of grandparents and
maybe friends and your own.
That's what the spirit of
Christmas means to me.

better. I hope that my Grandm.. 'N ill
child on Christmas Day, and now
we celebrate that day to remember
what Jesus did for us. He gave his
life for us to live.
Some kids don't even get
presents. But getting isn't
everything it's the thought that
counts. You can give presents at
White Gift Sunday.
Christmas may mean something
different to your friends. But it
doesn't matter what your friends
think. It's what you think.
Some kids have advent calendars
to count down to Christmas. You
can count down by remembering
more and more about what Jesus
did for us.
For Christmas some kids have no
idea what it means. They think it's
just getting.
So at this Christmas why don't
you explain what Christmas means
to you or give someone a present of
get out of the hospital. I miss my
Grandma.

THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS..
By Bronwyn Dunbar
The spirit of Christmas isn't just
the getting, but the giving and the
sharing, the love and the feeling of
being wanted. Christmas is that
special holiday that brings out a
hidden magic that we rarely realize
is there.
Every year stores make almost all
of their profits off of Christmas.
Children to adults take their
savings to go and buy that special
gift for the people they love most.
But you don't necessarily have to
buy something; children don't often
have money so instead they make a
gift that may possibly be even more
special than any store boughten
gift.
Around Ethel and Brussels the
magic is there almost all of the
time. Brussels has a thrift shop and
I hope that my Dad gets hunting
gloves.

My Christmas Wish,
I wish that my Grandma would be
happy. She's sad because my
Grandpa died.
I wish I could see my Grandma.
I hope my great-Grandma is going
to be at my Grandma McClure's for
Christmas.

Grey Central School has a white
Christmas which gives old but well
kept toys and canned foods to the
Salvation Army.
But it's around Christmas when
you start to feel that magic. When
all the decorations are up and the
gifts are under the tree, the kids
have had that last day of school and
the party that's been longed for all
year. It's then the magic starts.
Family comes from far off just for
dinner and a visit, friends send
Christmas cards, and you have a

tcw days without a fight from
sisters and brothers, you may not
know but the hidden Christmas
magic has kicked in again!
This Christmas try to see if you
can fmd the hidden magic around
your home, town, or village. Look
for the carollers who sing the songs
that you know and love, watch for
Santa and his reindeer, and don't
forget to say thank you for all the
songs, favours, and gifts you
receive. Because...
It's part of the Christmas magic!
A string of credit cards
The 12 Months of Christmas was the source of laughter at
the Hullett PS Christmas concert on Dec.16. Krista Martin,
left and Mandy Dunbar, Grade 5, display with dismay the
call of the credit card companies as early as July, in
preparation for the coming of the holiday season.
